Clarins Extra-Firming Tightening Lift Botanical Serum but i'm not sure where, probably Sephora. Anyway, I decided to use it one morning underneath my primer. To my amazement I noticed a few things immediately. First, my large pores were closing up, second, the lines in my forehead were disappearing and lastly, the skin around my eyes became slightly tighter. I don't have bags or puffiness but I do have fine lines due to aging but I was sold on how this product made my skin look and feel. The packet had enough for two applications so I decided to try it again the next day just to be sure what I was experiencing was real. Well, I noticed the same things happening again and I liked the results so I decided to purchase the full tube. This product contains 1.0 Fl Oz and cost $87.00.

In 2014, at 55yrs old, clearly you can see that my eyelids was starting to droop. The skin around my jaw line or jowls were getting a little hollow. By 2015 my face was fuller due to weight gain and my eyelids had gotten worse. I was having vision problems in my right eye due to the extra skin and I was very unhappy with my overall appearance. I decided to make some lifestyle changes so in April of 2015, I underwent a Blepharplasty (Eyelid Surgery) which I blogged about here and on my YT Channel.

As an over 50 beauty blogger, I realized that my readers don't know a lot about the items that I use regularly and always replace. I thought that I would do weekly post of items that I've been loving along with a new featured item that I recently acquired. This way, I can include a review of that item and let you know how I feel about it.

I've decided to move away from department store skin care and upgrade to medical grade skin care because it seems to have the best reviews for new collagen growth and proves to be more beneficial for anti-aging skin. I am still using other items such as Retin-A, Retinols, Peptides and Peels to aid my skin in elasticity and firmness. I talked about all the products that i'm currently using in my latest skin care blog post 5-Steps to Wrinkle Free Skin as well as included a video demonstrating how I use each product in my nighttime regimen. Here's what the website has to say about each of the products that I purchased.

I have to say that I love collecting skin care samples and rarely do I purchase from websites that don't offer free samples. Samples is my way of trying out the product before I purchase the full size, which we all know can become quite expensive especially if the product doesn't work for us. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to organization and I like being able to find things when I need them. This is my way of organizing my samples, I use plastic ziploc bags and tape labels onto them by categories. I show this all to you in the video below and I also gave you a mini tour of my makeup and filming area as well.

This might be hard to believe but this is the second eye cream that I have ever bought. I have been using eye cream samples for the last 20yrs or maybe longer so I never had to actually purchase any. The samples that I have are very high end and these little tubes last for quite awhile too. So on with this product review. I purchased this Neocutis Lumiere Bio-restorative Eye Cream on recommendation from my Plastic Surgeon right after I was released from his care after I had my Blepharoplasty. I was hoping that it would preform some sort of miracle and shrink the tiny scar above my right eye.... well to no avail the scar is still there.

The month of December is all about Peptides, at home Peels and Lip Moisturizers. Below is a list of all the products mentioned, the prices and links to where they can be purchased online. Be sure and watch the video, I show you all the products up close and even swatch them all on my arm. Stay tuned for upcoming reviews on all of these products as I use them and discover just exactly how they preform. Collagen is a protein comprised of long segments of amino acids arranged like a chain. When collagen breaks down, short segments of amino acids are formed. These are the tiny proteins and active molecules known as peptides. Peptides in skin care can provide significant anti-aging benefits.

My journey into peptides comes on recommendation from my Dermatologist, he told me that I should be using them regularly so I'm in the process of trying different ones... some expensive and some in-expensive... so stay tuned for more peptide reviews to come! The Retseliney Peptide Complex Face & Neck Serum cost $16.99 and come in a 1 fl oz container dispensed by a pump. The pump dispenses enough for one application covering the entire face and neck. The gel is very lightweight and doesn't appear oily nor does it leave a sticky residue. It is perfect for use as the first step in the morning before applying a moisturizer and/or primer.

I have been using the Kakadu C since the summer so almost 5 months now. I feel i'm ready to give this product my honest opinion and how it has affected my skin. I take very good care of my skin especially now that i'm in my 50's. I don't always talk about skin care here on my Blog but that's about to change. I will begin writing about all the products that I've been using (one by one) so you will start seeing a bevy of skin care products and devices that I have been using over the last few years.

I was very honored to receive a full tube of the most talked about Serum on the market today Elite Serum. If you are not familiar with Elite Serum, then allow me to introduce it to you.
I begin using it all over my face and neck because the skin in those areas are beginning to loosen. I'm in my mid 50's and my skin has never looked so amazing!

I've been using Fair & White Serum to even out my complexion, but specifically the dark areas around my eyes (top and bottom). Initially, I started out mixing a few drops in my eye cream at night, I would then apply the cream all around my eyes (top and bottom). I did this for about 2 weeks. I did not notice the areas around my eyes lightening so I started applying it directly around my eye area (top and bottom) before I applied my eye cream.

Leorex Cosmetics skin care line, I was very happy to receive them. Having mature skin isn't all pump and circumstance, I have to work twice as hard as a 20yr old and sometimes there's only a slight improvement in the results. It's the fine lines and signs of aging that always has me on the lookout for leading edge products that minimizes and corrects while providing my skin with ample moisture and nourishment.

I've been trying a lot of skin samples lately and especially serums. Most serums come with a hefty price tag so before I run out and buy one, it has to really capture my attention. With that said, this isn't your ordinary serum and after a few days of using my sample, I was pleasantly surprised.

I prefer to use Serums over moisturizers. For me it's crystal clear.... I'm not going down without a fight and I will do whatever's necessary to maintain my youthful skin!

I was searching for a product to use on my eyelashes at night that didn't cost an arm and a leg so I recently picked up the Loreal Lash Boosting Serum from my local CVS. This product cost $16.99 and so far i've been using it every night before I retire.
