Nails ~ OPI Papua Pink Pearl and China Glaze Snow Globe

OPI Papua Pink Pearl and China Glaze Snow GlobeThis week is a very simple soft look, I used a little China Glaze glitter to keep the polish from chipping, though I really like glitter on my nails because I don't know how to do all the beautiful designs.

Enjoy the photos!

Nails ~ China Glaze Mosaic Madness Nail Polish

China Glaze Mosaic Madness
For this look I used two coats of China Glaze's Mosiac Madness over OPI's DS Magic which I reviewed here.  What I like to do is wear a non-textured or plain polish for two days then add a matching glitter polish giving my nails an entirely different look.  This way I can keep my polish on for at least 5 days without changing it.

Nails ~ Re-visiting China Glaze Crackle Nail Polish

China Glaze Crackle Nail Polish
I was reorganizing my polishes when I spotted the entire China Glaze Crackle collection (8 bottles) all cozy in the bottom shelf of my nail polish rack.  I started thinking.... should I or should I.

The crackle polishes was hot 2yrs ago so I was a little hesitant but I said what the heck and decided to go for it.  I used OPI's Black Onyx with China Glaze's Cracked Medallion and Seche Vita quick dry top coat.  Have you re-visited any nail polishes that are considered out of season?

Nails ~ OPI's Polka.com

OPI's Polka.com
I recently picked up the OPI's Polka.com from Nordstrom's Rack. To my surprise they had so many polishes which I believe most were discontinued.  The price was $7.95, I think they're regularly prices at $8.00 so not a really huge discount.  But if you're searching for a particular color that might be discontinued, then check your local Nordstrom's rack.... it just might be there.

Nails ~ A Beautiful Color Combination for Toenails

China Glaze Snow Globe & OPI Papua Pink Pearl Nail Polish

I gave myself a pedicure with this color combination and I absolutely love it.  This combination is  something I would wear on my fingernails because the colors are more softer. Wearing them on my toenails has given me a new perspective.... that I don't always have to have drama on my feet.

Nails ~ China Glaze 2012 Let It Snow Holiday Gift Set

China Glaze 2012 Let It Snow Holiday Gift Set
I snagged this 12 piece holiday set for $19.99 from the Sally's Beauty Supply online website. This was on clearance right after New Year's along with so many other wonderful holiday sets.  It was so hard to choose from but this set contains 5 glitter nail polishes so I was pretty happy with my choice and the colors are awesome.

Nails ~ OPI Black Onyx China Glaze Crackle in Cracked Medallion

China Glaze Crackle in Cracked Medallion
I have always done my own pedicures because I find it so relaxing. I'm just starting to experiment with different looks like layering polishes, adding sparkles and charms and being really creative.  I do love watching the Youtube videos on nail designs and now i'm experimenting with my toes because it's fun!  I wanted to say a few words about this clear polish finish because it really keeps my nail from chipping.  I've experienced wearing my polish for over 2wks without seeing any chips.  I use it both as a base and a top coat and I do apply two coats on top because I like the high gloss finish.

Nails ~ China Glaze Metallic Crackle Nail Polish!

China Glaze Metallic Crackle Nail Polish!
China Glaze Metallic Crackle Nail Polish!  Wow, these are simply beautiful!  Although the collection featured many other colors, I only picked up three colors mentioned above out of the entire collection, Cracked Medallion Bronze, Tarnished Gold and Platinum Pieces Silver.  I liked these three colors and plan on wearing them on my toes this summer. Here's a photo of the entire collection below:

If you like all the colors, then it's worth getting the entire collection!
