I'm re uploading this post from 2013 of my Nars Blush Collection because I've added a few more blushes that I wanted to include into this collection blog post. I now have a total of 13 Nars blushes total that I have in my collection now.

Among the items I purchased from the new Gucci Cosmetics Line was the Gucci Cherry Nectar Blush. I chose this blush for no special reason. I have an array of corals, peaches and oranges in my collection already so I thought this would fall under the plums, wines and berries which I have a limited collection in my stash.

Ladies... this Tom Ford Bronzed Amber Illuminating Cheek Color (discontinued) is one of the most beautiful bronzer/blush combinations I've ever seen. This illuminating cheek color can be worn as a bronzer or applied over the cheeks giving a subtle warm glow. For a women with brown skin like mine, this illuminator definitely takes my cheeks to another dimension. Similar to this is the Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate Duo.

There's something about Nars Blushes that I just can't get enough of. Whenever there's a new blush that comes out, I search all over the internet looking for swatches until I can find a swatch that comes pretty close to my complexion. I have a deep infinity for orange blushes and my collection is growing by the minute. I feel about orange the way most girls feel about pink. Pink blushes really don't show up on me all too well, unless they're a deep rose or fuchsia color and have darker pigmentation to them.

Collection. There were five MSFs released in this collection, three new and two re-promotes. I also purchased "Lust" which I reviewed here. I would describe Rio as a deep toned peach with lighter peach highlights. What I like about this MSF is that there isn't any golden shimmers which is very common with MAC MSFs. Similar color is Stila Heavenly Hue Highligher in Kitten.

Rock & Republic (R&R) was a makeup line that's been discontinued for about 2yrs now. Their collection contained about 10 beautiful blushes that were to die for. R&R blush in "Lust" is my favorite blush of all times... hands down, there's no other blush in this Universe that I love more than Lust. It's breathtakingly beautiful on my ebony skin and gives my cheeks an amazing glow that I can't even begin to describe in words.

Applying just a tiny amount to the cheeks, forehead and bridge between the eyes, gives the face a beautiful illumination and glow. There's nothing oily about this product and the color is absolutely amazing. I'm so in love with this it's becoming one of my everyday staples. I've been applying it to my upper cheeks as my highlighter, it gives such a different glow than the traditional highlight powders. Maybe because it's a cream, it's giving my skin a totally different look.... and to think, I bought it on a whim!

This is a Rock & Rebuplic Blush in the color Lust. I bought this blush from a private seller and it arrived broken. The seller has a "no return/no exchange" policy so i'm stuck with it. I did let her know it arrived broken and at first she said she would meet me half way on a solution, but when I suggested splitting the cost for a replacement pan, I never heard back from her.

Stratus is a deep terracotta color mixed with deep plum and golden shimmers. I have similar comments for this color as I do for Ring of Saturn. Stratus is deeper and has a purple undertone instead of a peach undertone.
