Lifestyle ~ The Simple Little Pleasures of Jo Malone Candles & Cologne

Jo Malone Candles & Cologne

Today is the first of a few items that I purchased on my shopping trip with my good friend who was visiting.  I purchased these Jo Malone items from the Nordstrom's store not realizing that in the same mall was a stand alone Jo Malone store.  At any rate, this is a limited edition candle in "White Lilac & Rhubard".  The scent is so powerful and beautiful, the fragrance smells my entire office without even being lit.  I don't burn my limited edition candles rather just use them for display.  While I was in the store, I was also smelling the different cologne mixtures, the ranges are Woody, Spicy, Fruity and Floral. I wanted a cologne that came close to the scent of the candle and after narrowing it down, I choose the "Peony & Blush Suede" scent. I have been wearing this cologne everyday and i'm sure it will become one of my all time favorites of the year.

Lifestyle ~ Beautifully Scented Diptyque Candles in Ambre Rosafolia and Violette

I'm very excited to have these beautiful candles that I've heard so much about and are the chosen favorites amongst Bloggers worldwide.  Where have I been! These candles are so fragranced I just can't believe the scent that fills my room. I chose to leave them in the boxes and use them as decorations for my vanity.  I may at some point light one just to have the fragrance fill my entire home. The candles I chose are below:

Candles ~ Citrus Cilantro Candle from Home Goods

Citrus Cilantro Candle

Funny i'm not really a candle girl but while shopping in Home Goods, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful smell coming from a few isles over. So following my nose I headed over to check out the scents.  To my amazement, there were so many beautiful candles I spent quite amount of time lifting and smelling the different scents.  It can become overwhelming I suppose so I finally narrowed it down and chose this one... and it only cost $7.99!
