Beauty ~ Comparisons Between Mac 275 Angle Shader Brush and Sigma E70 Medium Angled Shading Brush

Mac 275 Angle Brush and Sigma E70 Angle Brush

When I sit down and play in my makeup, I'm always grabbing two distinct brushes, the first one is my flat shader brushes and the second are my angle brushes. I have two angled brushes that I love which are by Mac and Sigma. I'm sure there are other brands of angled brushes out there but I ahve never had a need to try any other brands for some reason.  My favorite is by Sigma just because it's slightly larger and covers the part of the lid right above the crease.  This has been really important to me because when you have hooded eyelids, accentuating the area right above the crease opens up the eyes just a bit more.  Now that I have had #blepharoplasty, upper #eyelidsurgery, I no longer have that problem.

Beauty ~ Sephora Pro Full Coverage Airbrush #53 Review

Sephora Pro Full Coverage Airbrush #53

The first time I saw this brush was when Wayne Goss raved about it on his Youtube channel.  It looked rather interesting so I added it to my "wish list".  I was browsing Sephora JCP and had a chance to feel the bristles and see what the rave was all about.

Beauty ~ Makeup Geek Bent Eyeliner Brush

I forgot to add this to my "Favorite Products of 2014" so I thought I would put it in a separate post since I've never blogged about it separately.  If you ever wanted an affordable eyeliner brush that's stiff and pointed beyond belief, then you've got to get this eyeliner brush by #makeupgeek.  I have to say that I also use it for my eyebrows as well.... and I never leave home with out it.

Sonia Kashuk 15 Year Anniversary Brush Set

I went to three different Target's to try and find this set, finally I gave up and went to her website and ordered it. What the website does is ask you to put in your zip code, then it takes you to that Target to place your order.  I placed my order that morning and received an email that it was ready for pickup that same afternoon.

Beauty ~ The London Brush Company

The London Brush Company
I had the opportunity to order two brushes from The London Brush Company but to my surprise there were three (3) extra brushes in my package!  I was so excited that I wrote the owner because I thought I had received someone elses order by mistake.  She informed me that because of the delay in shipping (she was out of town) those extra brushes was my gift! I had the opportunity to use all the brushes and I can tell you, they are really super nice!  I'm a brush freak and I love my brushes and i'm always searching for new and unusual things to add to my collection.  I found this company accidentally, I'm in a ton of beauty communities on LinkedIn and I just happened to be browsing one of the communities when I saw her post about the brushes.

Tale of Tartan Collection Pigments

These are my final items from my CCO Haul. These pigments came form the Tale of Tartan Collection that was launched Dec 2010. The Brush below is a discontinued brush that I didn't own so I thought I would add it to my ever growing collection.

Beauty ~ How I store my Makeup Brushes

How I store my Makeup Brushes
This is how I store my brushes in these cute porcelain egg vases.  I've been collecting them for the past year  and they were all bought on from individual sellers.

Beauty ~ Mac 226 Limited Edition Crease Brush

Mac 226 Crease Brush vs. Chanel 12 Crease Brush
I have to admit I went out and purchased this Mac 226 limited edition crease brush from my local Mac Pro Store because I got caught up in all the hype. I haven't used it yet so I can't really give an honest comparison. But I can compare it in terms of looks instead of performance to the Chanel 12 crease brush that i've been using for the past 2yrs.

Beauty ~ Crown Duo Fiber Brush Review

Crown Duo Fiber Brush Review
What can I say besides that I have a love infinity with my brushes! I simply love the Duo Fiber brushes, whether it's by Mac or Sigma, I simply love them all. What I love about Crown is that they offer such a wide variety of Duo Fiber brushes, those that Mac or Sigma doesn't offer. I recently purchased all these brushes on sale through Hautelook and i'm very happy with my purchase!

Beauty ~ Sigma Makeup Brushes

Sigma Makeup Brushes
If you have never experienced applying your makeup with Sigma brushes, you're really in for a big surprise! I had purchased a set of the three high definition kabuki brushes sometime ago but had decided that I could never stop using my Mac brushes because I was so in love with them. Well after watching one of my favorite Youtube Guru's brag about how flawless her makeup has been since using her Sigma brushes, I had second thoughts.
