Swatches | Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette Review + Video

I recently picked up this ABH Modern Renaissance palette on a whim, I was replenishing some much needed staples from Sephora online when I just decided to order this palette based on swatches that I had seen from another Y'tber. The colors appear more vibrant when swatched on my arm than they appeared applied to my eyes.  I used Mac Painterly Paintpot as my base and the colors still weren't vibrant as I would have liked them to be.  All in all, this palette is perfect for everyday use. It gives you a subtle look without too much drama and the colors can be touched up for a more dramatic nighttime look when necessary.

Swatches ~ Anastasia BH Tamanna Dress Your Face Palette

Anastasia BH Tamanna Dress Your Face Palette

I was very excited to order this palette from the Anastasia website.  The Tamanna palette is the third palette of the Dress Your Face palette collection that came out last month.  I didn't order the first two palettes from the collection but this one I just had to have. I think this palette is WOC (woman of color) friendly because it has more colors that suite darker skin tones. This palette is only available on the ABH website but if you want more of a variety, try the Modern Renaissance Palette.

Swatches ~ Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Chocolate

Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Chocolate

Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Chocolate was the second color I bought.  I really like this color and I think it compliments my complexion, not too dark or too red.  I also bought Auburn which I reviewed HERE, Aubrun was slightly redder but I toned it down with an eyebrow pencil, normally I use one over my base to give the brows more staying power.

Swatches ~ Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Auburn

My eyebrows are a huge part of my beauty regimen because I lost about 85% of my eyebrows due to Alopecia in my early 40's.  So I depend on all kinds of brow products from gels, liners and powders to give me the range I need to sculpt and them to look as natural as possible.
