How to Use Facebook Ads to Market Your Pinterest Boards

How to Market Your Pinterest Board
I have decided that using Pinterest for affiliate marketing purposes was way easier than writing posts on my blog and promoting specific items through affiliate links.  Don't get me wrong, I will still occasionally write a fashion and beauty post and include affiliate links to where you can purchase similar items, however I've found that with Pinterest I can Pin items that i'm very found of and promote that item on Facebook with a link directly to my  board on Pinterest where you can also find that item and more similar items of it's kind. You absolutely cannot post direct affiliate links on Facebook, it's the fastest way to get into Facebook jail..... maybe someday they'll overturn this rule but until then you have to share links to a site that contains affiliate links like your Blog or Pinterest.

How to Make Money on Pinterest through Affiliate Marketing

How to Make Money on Pinterest

Someone asked a question in one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. They asked how to make money through affiliate marketing?  I took the liberty to answer not because I think I'm pretty knowledgeable because i'm not, but I answered because I wanted to share some honest information with her about how I was able to make a little money on Pinterest through affiliate marketing products from Amazon.  I should mention that there were a lot of people that had responded to her question.  A lot of them were posting links to programs that other Bloggers were selling on their websites. I did check out some of them because I was curious to see how much these programs cost. I was surprised to find that some of them were quite expensive... anywhere from $50 to $300.

My YouTube Video Earnings
(click photo to expand view)
When it comes to earning money on YouTube, the figures fall all over the map. There's little we can do but hope that all of our hard work and efforts yield some sort of profit from month to month. Yes, we all feel YT is a hobby and something to pass the time, but when you're retired like me, you look forward to seeing that monthly deposit from Google in your bank account each month.

Blogger ~ Run Your Own Affiliate Marketing Campaigns on Twitter and Make Money!

Affiliate Marketing on Twitter
Someone once asked me how I made money using Twitter. I became very excited to share with them how easy it was to use their Twitter accounts to make money without even having a Blog.  Let me explain how it's done.
  1.  Make sure you have an active Twitter account all set up and ready to go.
  2. Choose one or two of your favorite affiliate marketing companies to work with, my two favorites are Linkshare and Shareasale.

Blogger - Why You Will Never Make Money as an Affiliate With Sephora and Nordstroms

I'm a Beauty Blogger and my target niche is Beauty, so it makes perfect sense to market beauty products on my Blogs. Today I focus on two of the most notable brands Sephora and Nordstroms.  Below is what each company offers in terms of commission and return days:

Sephora - 5.00% commission on all goods   Return Days = 1 Days
Nordstroms - 2.00% commission on all goods Return Days = .5 Days

In the tables below you will see that I made a total of $4,203.24 in sales in a 2mo period.  I will not be paid one penny for these sales even though they were purchased through my affiliate links because they are all deemed as "non-commissional sales."

Blogger ~ How to Use LinkedIn for Affiliate Marketing

How to Build Brands and Relationships Using LinkedInLast night I joined a Webnar sponsored by Serve that was entitled "LinkedIn for Bloggers: Connect with Brands and Build Relationships".  It was about 30 minutes long with a Q&A session at the end.  All the participants were on mute but we were able to submit our questions through the program used to connect the Webnar on the internet.
