Beauty ~ How I Reversed The Aging Process | NuFace Microcurrent Facial Toning Device | Video Demo

 NuFace Microcurrent Facial Toning Device

In 2014, at 55yrs old, clearly you can see that my eyelids was starting to droop.  The skin around my jaw line or jowls were getting a little hollow.  By 2015 my face was fuller due to weight gain and my eyelids had gotten worse. I was having vision problems in my right eye due to the extra skin and I was very unhappy with my overall appearance.  I decided to make some lifestyle changes so in April of 2015, I underwent Blepharplasty (Eyelid Surgery) which I blogged about here and on my YT Channel.

Lifestyle ~ Blepharoplasty | Hooded Eyelid Surgery 1 Year Update (Part 10)

Blepharoplasty | Hooded Eyelid Surger
One year ago on April 27, 2015 I had Blepharoplasty aka upper eyelid surgery.  I was very transparent throughout the entire process and blogged the entire journey here on my blog (Blepharoplasty) as well as created a playlist on my YT channel (Blepharoplasty Playlist). While this will be my last post of this journey, I doubt that it will be my last plastic surgery.  I really want to have a breast reduction, but I'm going to wait until I have totally transformed my body from fat to muscle, that way I will be able to see how much of a reduction I really need.

Fitness | Transformation Occurs With Persistence & Not Giving Up

Fitness Over 50

I started my fitness journey during my birthday month in August 2015.  The photos in the pink sports bra shows me at 34% bodyfat and weighing 151.5.  Through a series of sugar detox, weight lifting and cardio, I got my bodyfat down to 25%.  I don't weigh myself much but the last time I weigh myself I was 144.0 and i'm a whole lotta muscle now.

Beauty ~ My Thoughts on the #marcbeauty Remarcable Full Coverage Foundations Lacking Shades for Women of Color

When I first saw the thread in one of the makeup groups that I belong to on FB, I initially took the stance of feeling omitted and neglected by yet another high-end makeup line.  I was feeling like so many of the others in the group that felt left out and a little bit hurt that out of 22 shades, there were only 3 for us to select from.

Beauty ~ Retseliney Peptide Complex Face & Neck Serum Review For Anti-Aging Skin

Retseliney Peptide Complex Face & Neck Serum

My journey into peptides comes on recommendation from my Dermatologist, he told me that I should be using them regularly so I'm in the process of trying different ones... some expensive and some in-expensive... so stay tuned for more peptide reviews to come! The Retseliney Peptide Complex Face & Neck Serum cost $16.99 and come in a 1 fl oz container dispensed by a pump. The pump dispenses enough for one application covering the entire face and neck.  The gel is very lightweight and doesn't appear oily nor does it leave a sticky residue.  It is perfect for use as the first step in the morning before applying a moisturizer and/or primer.

Lifestyle ~ Himalayan Salt Lamps for Anti-Aging, Healing and Longevity

Himalayan Salt Lamps have been a part of my lifestyle since I started my Spiritual journey in 2008.  That was the year that I retired from my 20yr career as a Flight Attendant.  I had been around the world more times than I could remember experiencing more nationalities and religions than I could count, and this experience has left me with a profound quest of wanting to learn more about the one thing that we all had in common..... God.
