It's no fun being sick! In bed with the flu for 4 days, then I started feeling a little better and the rain came and hit us hard here in Los Angeles. I didn't dare go out in the rain in fear of getting even sicker so I decided to cut out some fabric and sew a few things that I had planned for January's sewing projects. My goal is to wear something that I made along with something that I purchased in my fashion photos from now on.here, here, here & here.
These ribbed fleece high-waisted leggings are from Amazon. I bought them on 5 different colors specifically to take with me on ski trips. Gosh, they are the warmest things ever. They're one size fits all and they stretch like crazy. I love that they're high-waisted and covers everything. They're actually black inside and you absolutely cannot see through them. You can find similars here, here, here & here.
It was very cold today so a knit ribbed turtleneck was in order. I have a drawer full of them in almost every color and I like wearing them skiing because they're so much warmer then the normal cotton turtlenecks.
I purchased my leather riding boots from Off Saks online. It's the outlet store for Saks 5th Ave. I don't have an outlet mall close by so I'm always visiting online outlet stores such as Nike, Puma, Makasa, and a lot of others because they have such great deals online. The wood jewelry is from my stash. I love wood because it lasts a lifetime and I have been collecting it for years. You can find similar here, here, here & here
I absolutely love wearing wood jewelry. For awhile I was trying to collect wood bangles in every color possible. I would even have my sisters searching for colors that I didn't have. Needless to say, I have more wood jewelry than I know what to do with. I found similar's for you here, here, here & here.
