Beauty | Favorites Items I've Been Loving this Week

As an over 50 beauty blogger, I realized that my readers don't know a lot about the items that I use regularly and always replace. I thought that I would do weekly post of items that I've been loving along with a new featured item that I recently acquired. This way, I can include a review of that item and let you know how I feel about it.

I reviewed this Jo Malone Candle last year when I purchased it along with one of their colones. It still remains my favorite but the cost keeps me from buying them regularly.

The Mac VersiColour Lip Stains are some of my favorites lip stains to wear this summer.   I bought them in 10 colors and really like them because they provide a long lasting stain on the lips and keeps my lips very moist and soft.

The Venus White Pro Teeth Whitening Kit is responsible for keeping my teeth pearly white. I use it religiously at least once or twice a week because for some reason it seem to keep the plaque from building up between my gums.

The Nars Pro-Prime Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Base is the best thing that has happened in my beauty regimen. It all started from receiving a mini sample, from there I fell in love and have been using it ever since.  It is the best primer for lifting hooded eyelids which I have since had done.

Ever since I started using the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara I've gotten so many compliments on my eyelashes. People actually think i'm wearing false lashes. This mascara provides so much thickness and volume there's no need for any other mascara.

I absolutely fell in love with the Kiko Glamorous Eye Pencils that I purchased them on a whim and they are so pigmented and exact dupes for the Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencils at half the cost.

I was sent the About Face Skin Protection Vitamin C Serum w/Hyaluronic Acid from the company to test and review. I've had it for over 2 months and I'm just getting around to testing it. Inside the box there's 4 vials of pure Vitamin C powder along with 4 small vials of hyaluronic acid. The directions are pretty simple, mix one vile of Vit C with one vile of Hya Acid in the bottle provided and fill with water. Let sit overnight until all the powder dissolves then it's ready to use.

The liquid is very watery with very little stickiness, it's perfect to wear underneath a moisturizer or primer before applying makeup.  I haven't noticed anything different with my skin because I've been using both Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid about 4yrs now consistently. Switching to this brand didn't give me any breakouts of changes that I would notice if there had been some sort of irritation. I think this is a great product to have in your skin care regimen simple because of all the benefits Vitamin C provides.  You can find out more about this product on their website and follow them on social media!

Disclosure: The product mentioned above was sent to me for consideration, all opinions are my own.
