Swatches | Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette Review + Video
I recently picked up this ABH Modern Renaissance palette on a whim, I was replenishing some much needed staples from Sephora online when I just decided to order this palette based on swatches that I had seen from another Y'tber. The colors appear more vibrant when swatched on my arm than they appeared applied to my eyes. I used Mac Painterly Paintpot as my base and the colors still weren't vibrant as I would have liked them to be. All in all, this palette is perfect for everyday use. It gives you a subtle look without too much drama and the colors can be touched up for a more dramatic nighttime look when necessary.
What it is:
An essential eyeshadow collection with 14 shades in neutral
to berry tones.
What it does:
A present-day take on Renaissance colors, the ABH Modern Renaissance palette features 14 shades that let you create stylish, day to night looks. From the
earthy yellow and ultra-matte finish of Golden Ochre to Primavera’s shimmer
gold with a metallic finish, this palette’s high-pigment shadows are crease and
fade-resistant and are sure to bring modern elegance to your eye looks.
I made a short video showing the swatches on camera, you can see the colors much more vibrant than they appear in the photo above, so take a moment and watch the video before you decide to purchase!
