Nails ~ ASP Brown Sugar Gel Polish with Martha Stewart Glitter

At Home Gel Nail Polish Review

I've almost perfected the at home gel polish techniques thanks to all the at home nail techs on YouTube.  This gel polish was by far the cheapest at $7.99 that I purchased from Sally's and I really liked the color so I though I would give it a try.  Yes it was a little runny and I had to shake like crazy before every stroke, but in the end, I liked how the manicure came out.

I haven't posted a nail post in a long while because i'm still trying to perfect the floating technique that comes with applying the gel polish.  You know, you have to turn the nails upside down and let the gel float away from the sides and then flip them back before the gel piles up in the center.  It definitely requires skill and technique to perfect.... I digress it's not simple by all means!

I did the one glitter nail using the Martha Stewart Glitters that I purchased awhile back, there were a set of 12 glitters that could be used in every occasion, you can find my review of them here. The way that I applied the glitter was simple, after I coated the nail with the second coat of gel polish, I stood over my trash can and sprinkled the glitter over the nail, then I cured them under the my UV lamp.  Of course I saw this method on YT as well.  Another way was to mix the polish with the glitter, but I thought that was was too messy and sprinkling the glitter was so much easier.
