Among the items I purchased from the new Gucci Cosmetics Line was the Gucci Cherry Nectar Blush. I chose this blush for no special reason. I have an array of corals, peaches and oranges in my collection already so I thought this would fall under the plums, wines and berries which I have a limited collection in my stash.
Gucci Cosmetics Cherry Nectar Blush
the Gucci Cosmetics Cherry Nectar Blush is very subtle color, I would classify it as a mixture between a deep rose and a light cherry. This is a pure matte blush, it contains no shimmers or shimmer particles. The color payoff is quite spectacular. Upon one swatch, the color was very vivid, I gave it two more swatches to darken it a bit just to see if it would get darker. It basically didn't change colors but became more dense as if I was trying to build more layers.
The packaging is simply beautiful. Gucci hit it out of the ball park with the packaging. It is the size of a Tom Ford blush but contains less product. Gucci blushes contains 4.25gms/0.14ozs whereas Tom Ford blushes contain 8gms/.28ozs. Gucci blushes cost $49 whereas Tom Ford blushes cost $57. Both brands are splurges for me and I classify them in my luxury category and place them in my luxury category drawer..... my drawer for high-end products.
