This one is definitely a winner for me. Though it's a little warm in color, meaning it doesn't have any deep hues that would blend in with my brown skin, I can make it work over a really pretty orange blush. Sometimes highlighters look very shinny or glittery on me if they tend to not have any dark pigmentation within the color.
I would describe this illuminator as a rose mauve color, there's not any gold tones or pigments which I like because lord knows I have enough of those. This illuminator does reflect light and can look a little shimmery if applied with a heavy hand. I would say just be safe when applying it and use a stifling or feathered brush that's not too dense.
I tend to buy very beautiful looking products and not wear them as much as I should. Now for a gal in her 50's this isn't a good idea, I should be wearing all my stuff everyday even if it's to the grocery store. I'm slowly pulling out my LE items, lately i've just been looking at them but I think i'll actually start using them.
You know blushes and highlighters are my weaknesses... what do you have a weakness for?
