Beauty ~ Mac 226 Limited Edition Crease Brush

Mac 226 Crease Brush vs. Chanel 12 Crease Brush
I have to admit I went out and purchased this Mac 226 limited edition crease brush from my local Mac Pro Store because I got caught up in all the hype. I haven't used it yet so I can't really give an honest comparison. But I can compare it in terms of looks instead of performance to the Chanel 12 crease brush that i've been using for the past 2yrs.

Mac 226 vs Chanel 12

The first thing I noticed about the Mac 226 is that it has a very fine point, i've never seen anything like this before.  I believe this will give a flawless finish with very precise strokes exactly where you want it.... any makeup artist's dream.  The brush seems to be very dense at the bottom but as it thins out, it becomes softer.  This is so unusual to have a brush that's both firm and soft at the same time.

Now in comparison to the Chanel,  I've really only use my Chanel as a highlighter so I can't give a comparison in the crease.  But I can honestly say, every time I use the Chanel as a highlighter, I get maximum performance and a flawless application.   I have hooded lids and a narrow crease area so i'm looking forward to trying the Mac 226, i'm hoping it will give me the precision in the crease area that I haven't found with the Chanel.
