Beauty ~ July Beauty Favorites

These are the products I grabbed the most during the month of July, in no particular order i've listed them below and why I like them.

Mac Golden Larait Mineralized Skin Finish
Having a blush/bronzer/highlighter trio all in one compact makes it very easy for travel. This trio was a part of the Mac Wonder Woman collection and was a limited edition item. The colors are gorgeous and compliments my Ebony skin tone perfectly... a must have amongst your collection!

Mac Brunette Mineralized Skin Finish
I liked the Brunette MSF because it provided me with just a hint of color and the right amount of shimmer. I found it very easy to apply on the cheeks when I wanted just a hint of color during the day.

Mac Deep/Dark Natural Mineralized Skin Finish
This is my go-to bronzer during the day, I used this as a contour along with the Brunette MSF and it gives me a beautiful contour/highlight combination without the use of a blush.

Bh Cosmetics Foundation Primer
I love this primer and have several backups. It applies very softly and leaves my skin so smooth. It makes my foundation look flawless!

Mac Folie Eyeshadow
This has been my go-to eyeshadow for filling in my eyebrows.  I have about 10 different brow powders and brown eyeshadows that I have been experimenting with and I finally fell in love with this one!

Urban Decay Primer Potion
I love my UDPP!  It's been the only thing i've been using under my eyeshadows this summer. I love it so much that I depotted it into a Mac paintpot jar for easy access.  I never experience any creasing of my shadows and I think it's the best thing on the market (besides the Mac Painterly Paintpot).

NYX Concealer Wand Purple
I use the NYX concealer wand in the color purple all around my eye area and underneath my eyebrows.  I then apply my foundation directly over it and it gives my eye area a very beautiful glow.  In my opinion, it takes away the need for a concealer and I don't have to do that extra step.

Foundation Sticks
I've been alternating back and forth between two types of foundation sticks this summer and they are the Fashion Fair Foundation Sticks in Tawny and Copper.  The other one i've been using is the Iman Foundation Stick in Clay 4.  I find these very easy to apply, just stroke them on and use a stiff brush such as the Mac 130 or the Sigma F80 flat top kabuki brush to spread evenly on the face. The foundation sticks take away the need for face powders in my opinion because they are a powder foundation stick.
