Cooking ~ Turkey Chilli with Brown Rice

 Turkey Chilli with Brown Rice
I've been wanting to make this Turkey chilli recipe for quite sometime but was hesitant because I typically stay away from carbs during the summer months. But, my taste palette gave in so I decided to indulge a bit. It was really simple to prepare!

Ingredients
1lb ground Turkey
8oz can Corn
8oz can Black Beans
8ozs Tomato Sauce
16ozs Stewed Tomatoes
1 cup brown rice
Seasoned Salt
Praprika
Garlic Powder
Minced Onion
Chilli Powder
Red Pepper
Lipton Onion Soup Mix

 Turkey Chilli with Brown Rice

Directions
Brown Ground Turkey in a large skillet, drain in a strainer and return cooked Turkey to skillet.  Add corn drained, black beans drained, stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce undrained. Add all the listed ingredients above to "taste" If you prefer spicy, add more red chilli pepper, but if you prefer mild, add only 1/4tsp as the red chilli pepper is hot.  Stir ingredients together and simmer until nice and hot, serve over cooked rice with your choice of bread, I choose crackers of course because i'm watching my carbs!
